Located near Alma, New Brunswick, Fundy National Park is a Canadian national park on the Bay of Fundy. It boasts one of the highest tides in the world, a rugged coastline that rises to the Canadian Highlands, and more than 25 waterfalls.
Fundy National Park encompasses approximately 80 square miles(205.9 km2); its 8-mile (13 km) coastline on the Bay of Fundy coast is renowned for its high tide and boasts the highest tide in the world. Its wooded hills and deep valleys are cut by tumbling streams. A seaside cobble beach and wave-pounded cliffs characterize the park's seaward edge.
Plan accordingly and set aside time to enjoy Fundy's natural beauty. Visiting the lookouts takes about an hour, and driving the trail takes about an hour. More than 90 minutes are required to drive from the trail to the ferry.
